Midoriya and his new friend Rody find themselves framed for a crime they didn't commit and are tasked with clearing their name while also having two hours to save the world from the villain Humarise--who plans on eliminating the world of quirks. The movie takes place in the wake of the anime's fifth season which is streaming on Funimation and airing on Toonami. My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission will be the third film in the series, the first being My Hero Academia: Two Heroes (2018) and My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising (2020).
